The floor or the van: which book to use

RP Elegant has two books. The Miami floor and the mobile chair are reserved separately.

Two calendars, one house. The Miami floor and the van do not share a book, even though both carry the same name and the same standard of work. The atelier is at 11735 SW 147th Ave, Unit 27, Miami, FL 33196. That address is the floor. RP Mobile is the van, a chair that comes to a home, an office, or a lot where it can park. Choosing one of those is the first decision on the site, before the service and before the chair.

They are the same house and two Google profiles. A review about the van does not belong on the floor, and a floor visit should not be posted on the mobile listing. The split is practical. Someone looking for a room in southwest Miami needs the unit, the door, and the hours of that room. Someone looking for a van needs to know the chair travels. Mixing the profiles makes both less useful and sends the next person to the wrong door.

The calendar is Square. Open times come from that book, not from a guess written beside the phone. If a barber is off, that chair is not offered. You will not see a slot that cannot be sat. Choose the shop, then the service, then the barber who is actually working. The floor phone is (305) 385-0306 when you need the room itself. The appointment still lives on the book you opened.

A floor booking means Unit 27. You come to the chair. The light, the cape, and the schedule are set for a client who walks in from the lot. If you booked the floor and later want the cut at home, that is a new appointment on the mobile book. A note does not send the van across the city. The two clocks do not cover for each other, and a missed floor time is not quietly converted into a driveway visit.

A mobile booking needs a place the van can use. Street, building, unit, and a spot to park are the minimum. A pin dropped on a roof, or a gate code left out, is how someone stands in the wrong lot while the slot runs down. Home works. An office works when the building will let a van sit for the length of the cut. A lot works when the space is legal and the walk to the chair is short. A neighborhood name is not an address.

Notes are read before the cape goes on, on both books. Say the cut in plain language, and name the place if the service line could be read two ways. The person opening the appointment should not discover, clipper in hand, that you wanted a taper and the service says fade, or that you booked a room when you needed a driveway. One sentence in the notes does that work before anyone is late.

Prepay is optional on either book. The visit is held if you pay when you book, and it is held if you pay at the chair. When you do pay ahead, the sale and the tip stay with the barber who was booked. That is how the house tracks the work. A prepaid floor visit is not a credit you spend on the van the same day. It stays attached to the chair you chose.

Some work cannot be priced from a menu. Design is one of those. The site shows it as variable, not as a zero. The chair looks at the hair, the beard, or the line, then sets the number. That rule is the same in the room and in the van. Booking the wrong shop does not change how the price is set. It changes where the hour is blocked and who is driving.

If you use both, keep them separate in your own record. The floor is the day you can get to SW 147th Ave and want the room. The van is the day the cut should come to you. Neither is a spare seat for a time you missed on the other. Move or cancel the appointment you made, then open the other book if the place has changed. Two live appointments for one head only block a chair someone else could have used.

Decide by the door, not by the haircut. The same fade can be cut in either place. What cannot be shared is the time, the parking, and the profile the visit belongs to. Pick the floor if you are coming to Unit 27. Pick the van if the chair is coming to you. Write the address, or the note, so the book is readable before the hour starts.
